Hello and Welcome to The Purple Tea Rooms.
Good News - We have found a new home. From Mon 7th December 2020, we will be operating from The Welcome Change Community Centre, Ownall Road, Shard End, B34 7AJ. We achieed our 5* food hygiene rating on 9th December 2020, detail can be found here; The Purple Tea Rooms Food Hygiene rating from Birmingham City Council on Scores On The Doors
Our new opening times will be 8am - 2pm Mon - Fri 9am - 2pm Sat. Why not pop along and say hello! Old and new customers welocme.
Our delivery service on cakes will continue where we can accomodate bookings, but the times will change slightly and we will be looking at offering a food delivery service once we have felt our feet a little. At the Purple Tea Rooms we pride ourselves on good value for money and honest homemade food. As a family run business we specialise in traditional old school puddings and will be selling cakes made by the one and only 'Johnny Concrete'. His Chocolate concrete is legendary in some parts of Sutton Coldfield and Birmingham.
